Refund & Cancellation Policy

1 Overview

At Rajhans Rangyan International Foundation, we deeply value the trust of our donors and supporters. Donations made to us are voluntary contributions that directly fund our social welfare programmes across education, healthcare, women empowerment, rural development, and environmental sustainability.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be considered, and the process for requesting one.

2 Nature of Donations

Donations to Rajhans Rangyan International Foundation are voluntary charitable contributions and not payments for goods or services. By donating, you acknowledge that:

• You are making a free-will charitable contribution.
• Donations are used exclusively for the Foundation's charitable and social welfare objectives.
• Eligible donors may claim tax deductions under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
• The 80G tax benefit, once claimed, cannot be reversed if the donation is subsequently refunded.

3 Eligibility for Refund

A refund may be considered under the following limited circumstances:

• Duplicate transaction: If you have been charged more than once for the same donation due to a technical error.
• Erroneous transaction: If an incorrect amount was deducted from your account due to a technical or system error.
• Unauthorised transaction: If you did not authorise the payment and can provide evidence of the same.

Refund requests based on a change of mind or personal reasons are generally not eligible.

4 Cancellation of Recurring Donations

If you have set up a recurring donation (monthly, quarterly, or annually) and wish to cancel future payments:

• You may request cancellation of future recurring donations at any time by contacting us at rajhansrangyan@gmail.com.
• Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 7 business days before the next scheduled payment date to take effect for that cycle.
• Amounts already processed prior to cancellation are non-refundable.
• Upon receiving your cancellation request, we will send a written confirmation within 3–5 business days.

5 Refund Request Process

If you believe you qualify for a refund under Section 3, please follow these steps:

1. Contact us within 7 days of the transaction date at rajhansrangyan@gmail.com with subject line: "Refund Request – [Your Name] – [Transaction Date]".
2. Provide the following details: Full name, registered email address, donation amount, transaction ID, date of transaction, and reason for refund request.
3. Attach supporting evidence such as bank statements, screenshots, or payment gateway confirmation showing the error or duplicate charge.
4. Wait for review: Our team will review your request within 7–10 business days and communicate the outcome via email.
5. Refund processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 10–15 business days and credited to the original payment method.

6 Refund Timelines

Once a refund is approved:

• Credit / Debit Card payments: 10–15 business days to reflect in your account.
• Net Banking / UPI: 5–10 business days.
• The actual credit time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Transaction charges, if any, levied by the payment gateway (Cashfree Payments) are non-refundable.

7 Event Registrations

For paid event registrations or programme fees collected by the Foundation:

• Cancellation requests received more than 14 days before the event date will receive a full refund.
• Cancellation requests received between 7 and 14 days before the event date will receive a 50% refund.
• Cancellation requests received less than 7 days before the event date are generally non-refundable.
• In cases where the Foundation cancels or postpones an event, a full refund will be provided to all registered participants.

8 CSR Contributions

CSR contributions remitted under formal MoU agreements are governed by the terms of the respective agreement between the corporate entity and Rajhans Rangyan International Foundation. Refund or cancellation of CSR contributions, if any, shall be processed as per the mutually agreed terms stated in the MoU.

9 Changes to This Policy

Rajhans Rangyan International Foundation reserves the right to amend this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
